CREATIVE STATEMENT: |ˌēmōˈtivitē| Music expresses with sincerity. The sincerity of the song is what speaks to us and gives us courage to trust the power of its emotional content. Trust in the song is pure potential energy; it has the power of bringing forth limitless trust within the heart of the listener. Then, it is the responsibility of the composer to lead the listener into the flowing stream of melody and rhythm, turning potential energy into motion. For any number of moments, a listener can travel in full engagement with a composer.
